Nyogthaeblisz
Satanic Skinhead Propaganda
Nyogthaeblisz is a Texan band founded in 2002, and has featured NSBM connections and themes since their early albums. They have previously worked with the NSBM label Satanic Skinhead Propaganda. 1 2 The band was featured in a 2006 compilation released by the label titled Satanic Skinhead: Declarations of Anti-Semetic Terror. According to Discogs, the word “anti-semitic” was misspelled on the outside of the release so that German authorities could not confiscate it for its antisemitism, as the word “anti-semetic” does not exist. 3 Their songs on the album feature antisemitic titles and lyrics, such as “A Bewitched Outbreak of Chemical Pestilence Quells the Subhuman Race,” an obvious reference to the gas chambers of Nazi concentration camps. 4

Chaos in Tejas 2012
In December 2011, Nyogthaeblisz was scheduled to perform at the 2012 music festival Chaos in Tejas with several other bands. Adam Schragin, music editor at Austinist and blogger at Black Metal Austin, pointed out that the band was, at the time, on the label Satanic Skinhead Propaganda and had released NSBM music like that cited above.
In response, Satanic Skinhead Propaganda owner Antichrist Kramer, purportedly posting as “Antichrist,” wrote the following post on the forum Nuclear War Now Records: (“Antichrist”, Solomon 12/13/2011)
NYOGTHAEBLIZ are not “NS” and they are not even white.
They are Satanic, and openly anti-semitic.
This is extreme Black Metal and this is EXACTLY why fests like this should not exist in the first place. Keep Black Metal dangerous and away from these liberal scum. This is a smear campaign with ad hominem attacks simply because the band is openly ANTI-JEW.
A promoter for one of Nyogthaeblisz’s later 2018 shows, Vengeance Fest III, said that some of the band’s members are Mexican (Joshua Jongsma 10/18/2018). Not all the ethnic or racial identities of the band’s members are known, but that does not preclude them from supporting bigotry.
In response, Timmy Hefner, who books Chaos in Tejas, removed Nyogthaeblisz from the lineup. However, Florida band Black Witchery and New Jersey band Disma remained. Both bands have NSBM connections and/or themes, and Hefner has defended Black Witchery in particular (Solomon 12/13/2011).
Nyogthaeblisz finally withdrew from the festival on December 30 after UK punk bands The Mob and Antisect threatened to refuse to perform if Nyogthaeblisz stayed on the lineup. The Chaos in Tejas Facebook account cited the band’s personal decision as the reason for them to not perform (Solomon 12/13/2011).

Vengeance Fest III
Nyogthaeblitz was scheduled to perform on October 19, 2018 with the bands Intolitarian and Northern as part of Vengeance Fest III at the Clifton, New Jersey venue Dingbatz. An employee of the establishment asked owner Fred Barnes to remove the band from the lineup after complaints about their politics. 10 (link)
According to Vince Neilstein at Metal Sucks, the venue posted a message on its Facebook page announcing the show had been canceled 2 days before the gig due to concerns about Nyogthaeblisz's connections and past. The announcement claimed that Dingbatz does not support "anything that involves any sort of racism, in any form, and [we] will not tolerate it at our establishment." https://web.archive.org/web/20210227181624/https://www.northjersey.com/story/news/passaic/clifton/2018/10/18/cliftons-dingbatz-cancels-controversial-bands-performances/1691089002/ A Dingbatz representative said the bands were booked by an outside promoter, KEP Promotions, and that they were not aware of the band's full history.
Kyle Powell, the promoter, condemned the backlash: https://web.archive.org/web/20210227181624/https://www.northjersey.com/story/news/passaic/clifton/2018/10/18/cliftons-dingbatz-cancels-controversial-bands-performances/1691089002/
People are hellbent on being PC and get offended ... If you're offended then fine don't attend the show, but don't try to ruin it for the people who have traveled and paid to see the artists play.
However, that post was later deleted and the show went on as planned. "New Jersey Venue Dingbatz Under Fire for Allowing Anti-Semitic Metal Band to Perform," Metal Sucks (link) A Dingbatz representative said they had had the event banned for four months and only heard about the band's antisemitism on the day of the festival.https://web.archive.org/web/20210302025327/https://www.northjersey.com/story/news/passaic/clifton/2018/10/18/vengeance-fest-iii-promoter-songs-not-hate-speech-black-metal-nyogthaeblisz-intolitarian-northern/1677331002/ Barnes defended his decision to let the band play: northjersey.com (link)
northjersey.com (link) Kyle Powell, a representative of KEP Promotions and the promoter of the festival, took credit for the decision: (link)You get put in a no-win situation in whatever you do here ... Being an owner of the club you look at it as freedom of speech. When does the censorship issue come in and where does it escalate from here?
He also cited his desire to not disappoint the bands or fans as a reason: northjersey.com (link)It was a decision I made because the guys had flown in to play and there were many people here to see them ... I made that decision. It should not fall on the club.
That's on me; that's who I am ... I always try to keep my word. If I go around canceling my shows or taking my bands off the bill, not only does it make me look bad in front of my clients, but it makes me look bad for the people coming to the shows.
Powell defended the band's invocation of Nazism by saying "black metal deals with evil and doom and various things of that nature." (link)
